History
BT2 Engineering & Science was founded in 1991 by Tom Bergamini, Ray Tierney, and Mark Tusler. Since 1991, BT2 has grown and diversified from its early focus on environmental remediation into a 50-person firm offering comprehensive civil and environmental engineering services to public and private sector clients.

Charitable Giving
BT2 operates an active "Give Back Campaign" to provide engineering services, cash, and volunteers to local charitable organizations. BT2 has been giving back to the Madison community through donations and volunteer efforts since the company was founded in 1991. In addition to specific projects like St. Vincent De Paul (see Press Release), BT2 regularly sends volunteer crews for the United Way's "Day of Caring," Meals on Wheels, and the Wisconsin DOT's Adopt-A-Highway program, and provides the option for employees to contribute to organizations like the United Way and Community Shares through payroll deductions. Other long-term recipients of BT2's Give Back Campaign include the Natural Heritage Land Trust and Second Harvest.

Principal Profiles

	Mark R. Huber, P.E., CEO, Principal, Senior Engineer Mr. Huber has 15 years of experience in engineering consulting, specializing in the areas of design and bidding documents for civil engineering, soil and groundwater remediation, solid waste management, and water resources. Mark earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University, and he is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
	Tom Bergamini, P.G., Principal, Senior Hydrogeologist Mr. Bergamini has 21 years of professional and project management experience in environmental consulting with an emphasis in the area of brownfield remediation and redevelopment. Tom holds a B.S. in Natural Resources and an M.S. in Water Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is a member of the National Ground Water Association and the Wisconsin Ground Water Association.
	Ray Tierney, P.G., Principal, Senior Hydrogeologist Mr. Tierney has 19 years of experience in soil and groundwater investigations, remedial actions, solid waste facility permitting and remediation, environmental site assessments, compliance evaluations, and due diligence for property transactions. Ray earned a B.S in Geology and Geophysics from Boston College, and an M.S. in Water Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
	Mark Tusler, P.E., Principal, Senior Engineer Mr. Tusler has over 27 years of professional and project management experience in soil and groundwater investigations and remediation; RCRA, CERCLA, and TSCA regulations; and water resources. Mark holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
	Sherren Clark, P.E., P.G., Principal, Senior Engineer Ms. Clark has 18 years of engineering consulting experience, applying her combined background in hydrogeology and engineering to contaminated site remediation and solid waste management. Sherren earned a B.A. in Geology from Carleton College and an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She is a member of the Solid Waste Association of North America and the Wisconsin Ground Water Association.
	John B. Tweddale, P.G., Principal, Senior Hydrogeologist Mr. Tweddale has 18 years of experience in site investigations and remediation, legal support, contaminant fate and transport, environmental site assessments, and regulatory analysis and agency interaction. John holds a B.S. in Geology from Grand Valley State University, Allendale, Michigan, and an M.S. in Geology from Indiana University. He is a member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists and the Wisconsin Ground Water Association.
